Revitalise your digestive system, remove blockages and reduce bloating with our gentle colonic hydrotherapy treatment.
Colonic irrigation or colonic hydrotherapy is a gentle and safe therapy that involves the infusion of water into the colon through the rectum. This relaxing and effective treatment does not involve any chemicals or drugs. Maintaining a healthy, well-functioning bowel is crucial for optimal health, yet it is often neglected. When the bloodstream is overloaded with toxic waste, the body’s functionality decreases, making it essential to rid the body of these toxins through colonic hydrotherapy.

The Bristol Stool Chart is a visual aid that helps colon hydrotherapy practitioners to classify your stool into one of seven categories based on its consistency and shape. This chart can be used to monitor bowel movements and identify any changes that may indicate a health problem.
The seven categories of stool on the Bristol Stool Chart range from type 1, which is described as separate hard lumps that are difficult to pass, to type 7, which is watery stool with no solid pieces. Types 1 and 2 are classified as constipated stools, while types 3 and 4 are considered normal stools. Types 5 to 7 are classified as diarrhea, with type 5 being considered ideal.
Type 1 stool is usually a sign of constipation and can be caused by a lack of fiber, dehydration, or certain medications. Type 2 stool is also a sign of constipation but may indicate a more severe case. Types 3 and 4 stools are considered ideal and are often associated with a healthy diet and regular bowel movements.
Type 5 stool is a softer stool that is easy to pass, but may indicate a lack of fiber or dehydration if it occurs frequently. Type 6 stool is considered to be loose or mushy, while type 7 is watery and often a sign of diarrhea. Both types 6 and 7 can be caused by a variety of factors including infections, food intolerances, and medication side effects.
The Bristol Stool Chart provides a useful way for individuals to monitor their bowel movements and identify any changes that may indicate a health problem. It is important to note that while type 3 and 4 stools are considered ideal, everyone’s bowel habits are unique and what is normal for one person may not be normal for another. If you are concerned about your bowel movements or notice a significant change, it is always recommended to consult with a recognised Colon Irrigation practitioner.

Also known as a ‘Colonic’, ‘Colonic Lavage’, ‘Colonic Irrigation’ or ‘High Colonic’, colonic hydrotherapy is safe, effective method for cleansing the colon of waste material by repeated, gentle flushing with water.
Since your abdomen will be massaged it is a good idea to eat or drink lightly in the 2 hours immediately preceding a colonic. Also, helpful but not essential, emptying the rectum with a bowel movement just prior to the colonic saves time and permits more to be accomplished.
Most clients report feeling fantastic following a colonic. As soon as the colonic is finished you can carry on with your daily routine. Side effects can include feeling chilled or light headed directly after your treatment.
